I am an oncologist, and my other specialty is internal medicine. Interacting with the patient is an important part of my work. Whether you have cancer-related issues or some kind of internal medicine problem, you are welcome at my practice. You are also welcome to visit me for advice on, for example, unclear symptoms or concerns, a suspicion of cancer or to arrange follow-up care.
I treat several types of cancer, especially thyroid cancers, breast cancers, and prostate cancers.

Education
Hanna Pelttari graduated from the University of Helsinki as a Licentiate of Medicine in 1992, and qualified as a specialist in internal medicine in 2002 and as an oncologist in 2007.
She completed her doctoral thesis on thyroid cancer in 2012.
Biography
In addition to clinical hospital work, Hanna Pelttari also has work experience in the field of cancer through her work for Pfizer, Orion and the Finnish Medicines Agency. In addition, she has worked in administrative positions and as the medical editor-in-chief of Kustannus Oy Duodecim.
