Biography

I have been working internationally as an oncology nurse since 2000. Over the years, my expertise has become supporting the patient’s holistic well-being and rehabilitation through various means. This includes recognizing and facing the patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs during and after their cancer treatments.

The values of Docrates is “as a human being by the side of a human being”. This describes perfectly how I see my relationship with my clients. With my solution-focused brief therapy consultations, we focus on the patient’s individual situation and map the already existing resources for a high quality of life during or after cancer treatments.

In my work, I combine my skills as an oncology nurse, e.g., the following methods:
solution-focused brief therapy, coaching, meditation, various relaxation exercises and trauma release method.

Common topics during consultations include fatigue, fear, anxiety, insomnia, lack of energy, emptiness after treatments, spiritual growth, returning to work/everyday life.

These consultations are open to cancer patients and their grown-up family members. Appointments are one-on-one consultations.

The service belongs to the mental well-being service package and is not suitable for patients with a serious psychological diagnosis, for whom we recommend seeing a psychotherapist or psychologist.
